University who worked in the field of proteomics-the systematic identification and characterisation of proteins. Having developed significant IP at Macquarie University, the scientists found themselves
unable to negotiate its release from the university, and so they
resigned their jobs and started a new company, developing new IP.
The original research, and the move to establish a private company to
exploit the commercial opportunities revealed by that research, was
driven by Proteome's cofounder and first CEO, Professor Keith
Williams. | Item Type: | Book Section |
