Letters from Robert Rowland Leake, South Australia to his father, John Leake, Van Diemen's Land, written on business visits to Portland (1849-1856), from Adelaide on business, politics and his parliamentary duties (3 May 1850, 28 June 1851, 1857). His last letter was written from Glencoe about his health and his will before his death on 14 September 1860 (4 Sept. 1860).
