(Unpublished) AbstractJournal of Charles Henry Leake, son of John and Elizabeth Leake, Van Diemen's Land, 17 Feb 1839 - 6 June 1840. The diary is very neatly and carefully written, noting weather, visitors including Sir John and Lady Franklin and Archdeacon Hutchins, farm work including carpentery, and the kitchen garden. There are also scribbles, writing practice (probably earlier), lists of furniture and household necessities. In the reverse of the volume are rough accounts of supplies for men c.1850.
