Abstract

William Richard Wade (1802-1891)arrived in New Zealand in 1834 to work in the Church Missionary Press. He resigned because of doctrinal difficulties, went to Hobart in 1842 a published a book " A journey in the Northern Island of New Zealand" . He became a minister of the independent Church and died in Melbourne
