referred to as GA. The project narrative and analysis follows two core strands, that is
the emergence of gardening on Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC)
television, from the program's early local beginnings, to the Tasmanian-based
development of a sustainable national identity together with its widely acknowledged
garden celebrity and long-standing host, Peter Cundall.
