Letter to Andrew Inglis Clark, Tasmania from Walter T. Gill, Melbourne 10 October 1884
Gill, WT and Clark, AI and Witton, JG (1884) Letter to Andrew Inglis Clark, Tasmania from Walter T. Gill, Melbourne 10 October 1884. University of Tasmania Library Special and Rare Materials Collection, Australia. (Unpublished) AbstractA very lengthy, rambling letter on health (the firm would have approved a months holiday but finances were not enough to take up the opportunity), and looking forward to a trip across the straits with Witton. Has read all the reports of Clark's candidature which shows that he has made great strides in public opinion. Talks at length about literature and how Witton and he have glorious talks on their Saturday or Sunday rambles.
