Stylistics in languages with compound statements

Abstract

This short communication discusses a stylistic problem which arises in languages, such as PASCAL, which use both statement separators, such as semi-colons, and begin-end bracketting structure. It suggests that an alternative to the traditional rules which has eveolved from Algol 60 is preferable.
