Export and innovation indicators for priority sectors in Tasmania: report from the 2010 Tasmanian Innovation Census

Abstract

This report was commissioned by the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts (DEDT A), to produce a set of exports and innovation indicators for priority industry sectors in Tasmania, based on data from the 2010 AIRC Tasmanian Innovation Census (TIC). The report is a follow up to the 2010 report' Export & innovation indicators for priority sectors in Tasmania' which drew on data from the 2007 TIC. As such, where possible the report seeks to replicate the methodology and analysis of the 2010 report. There are some changes in structure due to differences in survey data content, and additional analyses of the panel of firms who responded to both the 2007 and 2010 TIC.
