Abstract

The Central Plateau of Tasmania is a pivotal feature
of Tasmanian physiography and industrial enterprise, but
has been rather neglected by geologists. The topography
of the plateau has been well known since the earliest days
of the pastoral industry, and several general accounts are
available.
