AbstractA brief history of Macquarie Island is outlined with particular note of the different types of sites and sealing
equipment used. Their spatial relationships and the evidence for technological change are viewed in the light of this
historical evidence. The results of a small excavation challenge the historically derived view that living quarters were
continuously repaired and / or re-used. Problems in the management of these resources are outlined. | Item Type: | Article |
