Abstract

Between 1 July 1967 and 3 June 1987, totals of giant petrels banded at Macquarie Island (54 degrees South, 158.57 East) were northern giant petrel (Macronectes halli)-3056 chicks, 583 adults; southern giant petre (Macronectes giganteus)-369 chicks, 47 adults.
