AbstractThe steeply dipping beds at Osmiridi um Beach, southern Tasmania, earlier identified
as Tertiary are s·tructurally and stratigraphically continuous with l:he ?Cambrian Pt Vivian
Formation. The carbonaceous layers, used to support a Tertiary age, cut across the
