Harris, S (1986) Power politics and progress : the evolution of Tasmania's Hydro-Electric Commission 1914-1930. Honours thesis, University of Tasmania. AbstractOn the 18th of January, 1930 the Tasmanian Parliament
created the Hydro Electric Commission, and handed to that
statutory corporation the administration of the State's
electrical energy development. This study seeks to describe
how and why this came about. As such it encroaches upon
three fields of historical research and analysis. | Item Type: | Thesis (Honours) |
