Abstract

Photograph of four gentleman standing in the entrance to a building. Bequeathed by John Murray Harrisson, great grandson of John Lee Archer, 1941. The Cabinet card was produced in the early 1860's, it was 11 X 17cm and usually included extensive logos and information on the reverse side of the card to advertise the photographer’s services. It peaked in popularity in the 1880's. This card is blank on the back and the photographer is unknown. RS.123/16
