Abstract

So many additions have been made to the list of Tertiary
fossils of Tasmania during the last seven years that it is now
very desirable that a Reference List, complete to date, should
be placed at the disposal of all those who may wish to make
themselves acquainted with the Tertiary fossils of this island.
I have, with this object in view, prepared the following
Reference List, which I hope will be of some advantage to
the members of this Society, as well as to geologists
generally.
The list embraces about 382 species, of which the following
is an abstract. Includes explanation of abbreviations used in catalogue and plates.
