Abstract

A letter from George Ross to Dr GF Story, from Aberdeen January 1832. Ross writes to Story about his business and shipping concerns in Russia, and comments on the importation of 'mimosa bark' from Van Diemen's Land. He also writes of the death of William Leith, trade in the Baltic, his desire to travel in the South Seas, and of local elections in Aberdeen. From Cotton Family Papers C7/163
