Describes Ion Selective Electrode fluoride analyses of seven Southern Ocean and three Tasmanian coastal crustacean species. Variable results were obtained depending on the species examined. The findings suggest that many crustacean species with a high fluoride content obtain fluoride directly from the water, rather than via their food source.
