Abstract

This essay argues that a prior article postulating a Decimal Dysfunction ignores the worst aspects of current decimal enumeration and mensuration; proposals are made for improvements to the SI system by simplification, and improvements to the present unfortunate conventions for the representation of values of many kinds are called for.
