Abstract

James Backhouse Walker's log book of the ship White Star bound from Liverpool to Melbourne under the command of Robert Brown. The log covers the period from August 21st to November the 3rd in the year 1856 when James Backhouse Walker had finished his time at Friends School in York and returned to Tasmania.
