Abstract

Copy of a letter Edward Octavius Cotton wrote to his father the day that his fiancee Sarah Mather died on the 12th of March 1875. Also an extract of a letter Edward wrote to a friend extolling her virtues. Sarah was the second daughter of Robert Andrew and Ann Mather.
