Letters written by Mary Augusta Walker from 'Woodbourne', Tasmania, where she was a governess, to her brother James Backhouse Walker, written between October 1880 and October 1881. Contains amusing and lively descriptions of life in the country, including driving a dog cart and working as a governess.
