AbstractThe absence of an Australian challenge in the last two
America's Cup has meant that yacht research within
Australia has had to scale down. Despite this the
strength and importance of the sailing industry has
helped to keep yacht testing advancing at the Australian
Maritime College (AMC). The project "Investigation
into Re-Righting Tendencies of Modern Sailing Yachts"
is one project which is now producing spin-offs for the
entire field of sailing yacht research. | Item Type: | Conference or Workshop Item (Paper) |
