Official URL: http://www.aboriginalhistory.org/journalcontents.html AbstractIt is disappointing when a nascent field of study (in an Australian context anyway),
emerges seeming already tired and dated. This is not a problem with Whiteness Studies
per se, but with its application here. In too many of the 17 contributions in this volume a
politics and ideology forecloses against the formulation of the sort of revelatory enquiry
that Whiteness Studies potentially offers. Nevertheless, despite these shortcomings
there are some thoughtful and interesting chapters here. | Item Type: | Article |
