Abstract

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways with a an array of cells, including mast cells, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, macrophages and neutrophils, playing a role in its pathophysiology. In susceptible individuals, this inflammation causes recurrent episodes of wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness and coughing
