Juvenal, Satires, with the commentary of Domitius Calderinus. Pr. Andreas de Paltasichis, Venice, 24 March 1488. Roman typeface; unfilled spaces for initials. Annotated in 16th-cent. hands. At the end ‘Impressum Venetiis per magistrum Andream Chatarensem depantheis. Sub anno Domini M.cccc.lxxxviii. die. xxviii. Martii. Regnante domino domino Augustino Barbadico inclyto Venetorum Principe ad honorem dei & totiusque curiae celestis, &c.’ On the first recto (there is no title page) are ownership notes, perhaps of the 16th cent.: in pencil and again in ink, ‘Inter libros Leonardi Paternó’, and ‘Juuenalis Satyre / num: 16.’ At the head ‘1707 Primo.’ Also ‘G. 8.
