Abstract

Tacitus, Opera, followed by the notes of Beatus Rhenanus and Andreas Alciatus.

Pr. by Aldus Manutius’ heirs, Romanus and Andreas Asolani, Venice, November 1534.

Romanus and Andreas were the children of Aldus’ father-in-law, Andreas Asolani. They managed the firm until the majority of Aldus’ own son Paulus in 1533.
