Abstract

Family pedigrees of the May family, including Cotton, Shelton and Tilney families, compiled from information received from the Society of Friends records by William Lewis May of Sandford, Tasmania in 1912; a pedigree of Cottons with accompanying information supplied from Edward O. Cotton and Rachel Salmon nee Cotton and a copy of a letter written by Thomas Cotton the elder in 1834; a table of ancestors of the May family prepared by W.L. May of Sandford from records collected by his cousin Joseph Coleman in 1899 and the Will of Sarah Shelton 1795.
