Abstract

Interview with Professor Vernon Victor Hickman (1894-1984) and Dr. Winifred Mary Curtis (1905-2005) by John Roberts on the 5th December 1978 in Hobart. V.V.Hickman was a zoologist and Lecturer in Biology at the University of Tasmania from 1932 and Professor of Biology from 1943 until 1959. Winifred Curtis was a botanist and lecturer and reader in Botany at the University of Tasmania from 1939 until her retirement in 1966.
