Abstract

Photographs of the 'dance of the East Coast bathers', a wheelbarrow race on the beach at Bicheno and a bathing party at Kingston Beach, Tasmania, in the Illustrated Tasmanian Mail, November 12, 1930. The photographers were William Fellowes who had studios in Hobart from 1923-1931 and Ben Sheppard who worked from the late 20s until the 1950s.
