Abstract

This essay examines the implications of the use of digital technology on subjective reality, both perceptual and conceptual, and on objective reality, both physical and social; argues that digital technology is being used to degrade proper forms of reality, in particular in respect to anthropogenic climate change; and suggests that the same technology could be used to promote better realities.
