Marcus Tatton

Abstract

Marcus Tatton trained at Dunedin Polytech 1985, 86 before completing a bachelor of Art in Furniture Design at University of Tasmania from 1987 through 1989. Since then he has based his practice in Tasmania working full time in high craft, public art and sculpture. Marcus has exhibited consistently in several National Australian Sculpture Awards over the last 7 years, such as The Helen Lempriere Sculpture Award and Sculpture by the Sea. He will show images of some unusual creative processes that get him to these outdoor public exhibitions and provide some insights into how these national events are staged. Streaming:
