have originally been of the nature of a fine, slimy, or plastic
mud, for the impressions are very well preserved.

Genus Tasmanadia, nov.
Horizon.-Probably Cambrian.
Locality.-Kirkup's Quarry, Arthur River, Tasmania.
Holotype in Geological Survey Museum, Hobart.
