Abstract

Meteorological records recorded at the Observatory, Hobart Town,1864. Includes time of leafing, flowering and fruiting of a few standard plants in the Royal Society's Gardens.The general character of the weather this month was abnormal and more
deaths took place than in any July of the previous seven years, except that of
1800 when so many old people were carried off by influenza.
