Abstract

Letter from John and Elizabeth Franklin written from Bristol, dated 25th September 1852 asking for George Washington Walker's help in having their grandchild returned to them in England in the care of Captain Warwick, on the ship " Eliza" after her mother (Mrs Ferris) on a ticket of leave committed attempted murder in Melbourne.
