Abstract

Charles Henry Leake's journal, Van Diemen's Land 8 Sept 1834 - 17 Feb 1835. The journal was kept by Leake aged 14-15 when he was working as an assistant in the chemist's shop set up in Launceston by their father for an elder son, John, who had studied medicine.
