Abstract
John Woodcock Graves (1795-1886) was born in Cumberland, U.K.,
and emigrated to Tasmania in 1834. He is chiefly
remembered for the song 'D'ye ken John Peel' which he wrote
to a traditional Cumberland air. Includes notes to song, anothre song written on the verso. Programme for the unveiling of a memorial to J.W. Graves in St. Davids Park Hobart 1958. A page of notes on Graves.
