Abstract
A lengthy letter stating that he has been in a wretched state of ill health and is tired of life but because he is his familys' sole means of support he will not give in. He is reading, studying and exercising which is taking its toll. Mentions all the literature he is ploughing through including the bible. Witton is well and winning chess tournaments.Repeats his request for the Anson photograph of Mt Wellington from new Huon Road.
