Abstract

In the present paper three species belonging to the
family Oonopidm are described. The first is the hitherto
unknown male of Tasmanoonops alipes, Hickman; the second
a new species belonging to the genus Oonopinus, Simon; and
the third a new species belonging to the genus Orchestina,
Simon. As far as I am aware this is the first record of the
two last-named geriera occurring in Australia, either in Tasmania
or on the mainland. A closely allied genus, Australoonops,
has been found in 'Vestern Australia and
Orchestina occurs in New Zealand.
