Abstract
Tom Midwood worked with Orlando Baker in the Public Works Department building design section over the years 1899 - 1912. Baker was the government defacto architect (although on paid as a draftsman) in the Public Works department from 1897 - 1911. This caricature was drawn by Thomas Claude Wade Midwood, Hobart, Tasmania, c1900. From the University of Tasmania Library Special and Rare Materials Collection.
