Abstract

Meteorological records recorded at the Observatory, Hobart Town. Also includes leafing, flowering, and fruiting times of a few standard plants in the Royal Societies gardens for the month of September. So mild and equable a month for the vernal equinox, as the present September
has proved, is of rare occurrence. It has been so propitious to health
and life, that the mortuary records are very considerably below the average
number of the previous seven years' Septembers.
