Abstract

Meteorological records recorded at the Observatory, Hobart Town. Also includes leafing, flowering, and fruiting times of a few standard plants in the Royal Societies gardens for the month of August. Most of the meteorological phenomena of the month were propitious to
health, aud the long continued excessive deaths have at length given way to a
mortality below the August average of the previous seven years.
