Abstract

Description of the butterfly, Oreixenica flynni, sp. nov., found at Cradle Mountain, in the same locality Prof. Flynn also took Neoxenica
leprea {Hewit.) and Argynnina tasmanica (Lyell), the
first being previously only known from Mt. Wellington,
and the latter from the West Coast.
Article ends with a list of names of all butterflies known to occur in Tasmania.

In 1855 its name changed to Royal Society of Tasmania for Horticulture, Botany, and the Advancement of Science. In 1911 the name was shortened to Royal Society of Tasmania.
