Abstract

In a previous paper (Phil. May., October, 1911) I have
shown that the number of ions made by a cathode ray in
traversing unit length of air varies inversely as the square
of the velocity of the ray.

In 1855 its name changed to Royal Society of Tasmania for Horticulture, Botany, and the Advancement of Science. In 1911 the name was shortened to Royal Society of Tasmania.
