Abstract

Catalogue of an exhibition held at the Plimsoll Gallery, Centre for the Arts, Hobart from 15th August to 5th September 2008.
This is the third in a series of satellite exhibitions that the Plimsoll Gallery has been mounting alongside a series of solo survey exhibitions at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. It relates the work of Anne Ferran, who is the subject of the TMAG survey exhibition in December 2008, to that of a number of other artists who employ various visual strategies to comment upon historical events and material from colonial times.
