Abstract

Photographs of George Wilson's University of Tasmania Rugby Club memorabilia. Includes engraved silver and pewter items, bottle of "Rugby Club Red" with George Wilson the Club patron on the label and life member embrodered patch. Mr Wilson was Warden of Hytten Hall, the university’s first residential college, for the 14 years before his retirement. During the 1950s he was student counsellor and a keen rugby union player. He helped establish the game of rugby in Tasmania.
