Abstract

Letter from Edward Swarbreck Hall (1839-1844) re his son baptised by Rev. James Ambrose Cotham. Letter dated September 1843. From the papers of William and John Clark of Cluny Bothwell. John Clark (1807-1853) was Keeper of the Bonded Store in Launceston, Coast Waiter and Searcher at George Town and Police Magistrate at Hobart, Launceston, George Town and later Bothwell. He returned to take over the management of Cluny in 1838. He married Jane Eddie but
