Abstract

Further edition of the 1720 map, above, 'corrige suivant les dernieres decouvertes par Covens et Mortier, a Amsterdam chez J. Covens et C. Mortier', 'Par Guillaume de L'Isle'. Includes discoveries made in 1739, Cap de la Circoncision, the west coast line of Australia joined and further Dutch names added, additions to New Guinea. Also dotted line joining New Guinea, V.D.L. and W.A.
