Abstract
A letter from John Palser to Dr GF Story, from Sydney 6 December 1858. The letter is social in nature, commenting on the experiences of fellow Friends such as Theodore West, Samual Darlin, Dr Cox (of Illawarra), and Ruth Allen. Theodore West had been 'very much tried' as his youngest boy had died, and he had had to leave his 'nice iron house' in Sydney for a new situation in Rooty Hills (New South Wales). Palser also comments on John Wearing, whose conduct was thought to be contrary to Friends principles. From Cotton Family Papers C7/139
