Abstract
A series of photographic portraits of Dr George Fordyce Story, taken c. 1860 - 1870. Some of the portraits are blurry and faint, and have been re-taken several times until the photographer was satisfied. Story was experimenting with photographic paper and chemicals at this time, so the portraits may be self-portraits. From Cotton Family Papers C7/129
