Abstract

Arthur Gordon Lyne (1919-1991), graduated BSc at the University of Tasmania in 1950, PhD in 1958 and DSc in 1974. His speciality was the study of skin and hair growth. After a short period of study at Cambridge University, he was research zoologist at the University of Tasmania 1952-1953 and then joined the CSIRO in NSW. These are two of his original degree diplomas from the University of Tasmania: Bachelor of Science awarded May, 1951, and Doctor of Philosophy awarded May, 1958.
